OSpectrometer

Optical spectroscopy in the visible light spectrum is a commonly used tool in different fields such as health, manufacturing, art, and forensic research.

OSpectrometer implements basic spectrometer functions using the built-in camera and screen without requiring external devices or programs.

- Visible light spectrum is transformed and mapped to a function that generates RGB (Red Green Blue) color values

- A specific light wavelength can be selected and used to illuminate a desired target (i.e., close to the screen)

- The whole spectrum or a specific part of the spectrum can be selected and scanned

- Front camera is used to sense the reflection from the target object

- Consistent and repeatable reflection/absorption amplitude with respect to the color spectrum

- The result can be saved and shared

- Works offline, no need to connect to any network or internet

EHF Heart Monitor

 

OSX Application implementing serial interface for Seeed-Studio 60GHz mmWave Module - Respiratory Heartbeat Detection.

Implemented Functions

- Non-contact detection of heart rate with around 2 m distance

- Distance of the target body (in cm)

- Detection of any movement of the target body (outputs a magnitude between 1-100)

- Position of the body (i.e., None | Stationary | Active)

Physical Setup

mmWave radar Module can be connected to Mac by using usb-serial converter or bluetooth-serial module

Tested in MacBook Pro M2 Max - connected with both of the above mentioned methods.

Lidar Scan Interior App is a professional tool for scanning interior area of places such as rooms and buildings and generating 3D floor plan. It utilizes Apple RoomPlan as well as its own accurate & flexible LiDAR scanning algorithm. Some features of the app is as follows

Serial Positioner

Designed for controlling 3D motion over serial port.

 

Serial Positioner is a basic application developed to communicate with connected USB-Serial peripherals and control devices with serial port.

 

It only transmit/sends data over serial port, there is no receive function.

 

Sends string data packets with three different variable with no size limit at the application side.

 

Data structure is set by the Intuitive controller tools.

 

Its flexible - delimiters can be changed, so it can be configured to work with your specific serial device.

 

Example usage scenario including 2D microscope stage controller application (C++) is given at support website.
